A month ago I got a parakeet from a friends family member. I really do not know a lot about her. I have been trying to do research but I have not come across a source that gives me the information I am confident with. A lot of sources contradict each other. While I am doing my best I am constantly wondering if what I am doing is ok. I am just wondering where did you learn to take such good care of your birds?

a lot of it is experience, I worked in a store, volunteered at shelters, you pick up a lot from people who’ve been working with these animals personally for a number of years and seeing the effects of different methods first hand.
